FINISH
Low Sheen
The low-sheen finish provides a clean, modern roof appearance while helping reduce excessive surface
glare.
The final appearance may vary according to:
• Roof profile
• Surface texture
• Product colour
• Application method
• Number of coats

SPREAD RATE
Approximately 3–8 m² per litre per coat, depending on the roof type and surface condition.
Coverage is influenced by:
• Roof profile
• Surface porosity
• Surface texture
• Application method
• Existing coating condition
• Product colour
Highly profiled or porous roof surfaces may achieve lower coverage.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of two coats must be applied.
Additional coats may be required depending on:
• Roof profile
• Existing and selected colours
• Surface porosity
• Existing coating condition
• Required opacity and finish
Apply only to correctly prepared and suitably primed roof surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Before applying RoofCoat:
• Remove dust, dirt, chalking, grease, mould and surface contamination.
• Remove loose, flaking or poorly adhering coatings.
• Replace broken or damaged roof tiles.
• Repair cracks, open joints and defective roof details.
• Remove rust from metal surfaces.
• Apply the appropriate metal primer where required.
• Correct failed flashings, drainage problems and active leaks.
• Ensure the roof is clean, dry, stable and correctly prepared.
• Prime porous or previously coated surfaces where required.
Roof coatings cannot correct structural defects, failed roof construction or defective drainage.

APPLICATION
UltraFlex RoofCoat may be applied by:
• Brush
• Roller
• Suitable spray equipment
Stir thoroughly before and during application.
Apply evenly and avoid excessive spreading or uneven film build.
Allow each coat to dry sufficiently before applying the next coat.
Follow the applicable Technical Data Sheet for detailed preparation, drying and recoating instructions.

COLOUR INFORMATION
RoofCoat is available in selected UltraFlex roof colours.
Special colours may be available subject to minimum quantities and manufacturing requirements.
Digital colours displayed on the website are only a guide. Final colour selection should be confirmed using
an approved physical sample wherever possible.

WARRANTY
UltraFlex RoofCoat carries an 8-year paint-film warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and
conditions.
The warranty requires:
• Correct roof assessment and preparation
• Use of the specified primer where required
• Application of a minimum of two coats
• Compliance with the required spread rate and film build
• Application in accordance with the Technical Data Sheet
• Suitable weather conditions during application
• Proof of purchase
• Proper maintenance of the completed coating system
The warranty does not cover:
• Structural movement
• Defective roof construction
• Failed flashings or drainage
• Active rust beneath the coating
• Substrate failure
• Poor preparation
• Insufficient coating application
• External damage

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
• Do not apply to dirty, damp, unstable or poorly prepared surfaces.
• Do not apply over active rust or loose existing coatings.
• Do not use RoofCoat to repair structural defects or failed roof construction.
• Do not apply during rain or when rain is expected before the coating has dried sufficiently.
• Ponding, drainage defects and failed flashings must be corrected before application.
• Coverage may vary significantly on textured or profiled roof surfaces.
• Apply a minimum of two coats.
• Roof surfaces must be safe and suitable for access before work begins.
• RoofCoat is not intended for permanent immersion or below-ground waterproofing.
